Hi, I am Grandma Berta, this is the name all my grandchildren call me,
and I love it, so I decided to use it for my crochet business.My MemMem (grandma) taught me to crochet when I was very young. (50 or more years ago).
After many many chain stitches, my first project was to crochet an edge on a handkerchief,
(these were very popular back then).
It was crocheted with rainbow colors, and turned out real nice (for a beginner).
That was it; I was HOOKED, and still am.
I crochet all kinds of things as you can see by my pictures.I have 1 daughter, 3 sons, 2 stepsons, 5 daughter's in-law, 1 son-in-law, 5 grandsons, 4 granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters.
My husband Ray and I have been married for 18years.
This is the second marriage for both of us; we lost our first mates to God in Heaven.
Ray and I graduated High School together, and after we were widowed,
God brought us together, and life has been wonderful ever since.
We are retired and love to travel, and visit history sites, and of course CRAFT MALLS!!!
We also enjoy riding bicycles and long walks together.I am very involved in the Duncannon Presbyterian Church, especially the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
I hope you enjoy this site as much as I enjoyed making all of the items shown here.
